FL 26BW is the latest addition to the Tucsen’s new generation of deep cooled cameras. It incorporates Sony’s latest back-illuminated CMOS detector and combines advanced cooling sealing technology and image noise reduction technology from Tucsen. While achieving deep-cooling CCD-level performance in ultra long exposures, it comprehensively surpasses typical CCDs in terms of field of view (1.8 inches), speed, dynamic range, and other performance aspects. It can fully replace cooled CCDs in long exposure applications and also has broad prospects for applications in advanced microscopy imaging and industrial inspection.

FL 26BW has a low dark current of just 0.0005 e-/p/s, and the chip cooling temperature can be locked down to -25℃. Even during exposures as long as 30 minutes, its imaging performance (signal-to-noise ratio) remains superior to typical deep-cooled CCDs (ICX695).
